As a part of their winter seasonal celebration, The Franklin Institute presents Franklin FROST. An interactive experience spread throughout the main museum featuring activities, crafts, live demos, and intricate displays. In Big Chill Valley and Celestial Village you can explore a magical version of a Philadelphia winter wonderland with model trains winding throughout the city and the hills of Fairmount Park.
I created branding and an illustrated backdrop of Philadelphia and the surrounding park systems, including: the hills of the Wissahickon, the gazebo overlooking Kelly Drive, the arched bridges that span across the Schuylkill River, and beyond.
During opening night I teamed up with Second State Press to create an interactive personalized event poster making workshop.
Attendees could create their very own souvenir for the night by using a fresh off-the-press, silkscreened poster and custom-made stamps with colorful inks.
